About Rhona

Hi. My name is Rhona and I am a Brentwood based face painter. I offer professional face painting services for all kinds of events. I developed my passion for face painting 5 years ago by painting the children of family and friends at summer parties and fetes. I loved this as a hobby but wanted to take it a step further so therefore decided to further my skills by completing a Diploma in Face Painting with Façade Academy of Face Painting & Body Art,  I have also completed a course with Olga Murasev International Face Painting School.

Whether your child wants to transform into a superhero, a monster, a princess, a butterfly or anything in between I can bring it to life. You will have fantastic photos and we’ll have lots of fun. To make a booking or for more information, please get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you. Let’s make your party unforgettable.

Nyumbani Orphanage:

In October 2015, I visited Nyumbani Orphanage in Nairobi to paint the children’s faces for Halloween. The children were so excited as they had never had their faces painted before. I attended this in a group organised by British Airways who frequent and help the orphanage on a regular basis.

Saksham Independent Foundation:

Inspired by such a wonderful experience at the Nyumbani Orphange, the following year I visited the Saksham Independent Foundation in Delhi for Easter. Here’s what they had to say:

“A smile can be be contagious. Children’s first brush with “FACE PAINTING” was both interesting and hilarious with the younger ones blowing hard to create imagery and the older ones trying to control their breaths to do the same. It created a ripple effect at Saksham Foundation. Thank you Rhona Walker for spreading smiles ?. “

I feel so grateful to be able to bring new experiences to such delightful children.

I only use the highest quality of skin safe paints which are easily removed with soap and water. All the glitters are for cosmetic use and safe to use on children’s faces. Hygiene practices are of great importance too – clean sponges are used for each face. Water is changed very regularly and the work space is kept very clean and orderly. I am insured with Blackfriars for public liability.

Products I use:

  • The paint products I like to use are:
  • Grimas (Professional grade)
  • Diamond FX
  • Paradise
  • Chameleon Paint
  • Cosmetic Use glitters (safe for skin)

I will need you to provide:

  • 1 table
  • 2 chairs if makeup chair is not suitable for very small children.
  • Reasonable lighting
  • Under cover if wet or Winter.
